Ah, that's kind of sad about not regenerating. That's one of the main reasons for dt, that and the uber grabs with nero. And yeah, I can see how the non s missions would hurt a bit to look at. The good news about that penalty though is that if you are good enough at that point you have a chance of getting the no damage bonus, at least on human and maybe devil hunter mode.

A Super character only seems to give a mild advantage in DMD mode. More damage given and less taken. For Nero the special grab actions are helpful though.
I haven't played much Bloody Palace since beating DMD... The non-S ranks on my Total Rankings screen are too much of an eyesore.
A Super char would definitely make the Palace easier though. Unfortunately your health doesn't regenerate in DT with a super, unlike the second version super characters in DMC3 (Dante>Sparda, Vergil>NeloAngelo).

Ah, that's sad about using a super character, but I guess for campaign that would make them a bit too powerful. How about for bloody palace? Is that a lot easier with super characters?

Yeah, DMC4 is great, although there are some things I miss from DMC3. I finished DMD mode not too long ago...now I'm cleaning up all my rankings to A/S and was disappointed to learn that you get a rank penalty for using a Super character..! It balances out the No Item bonus.

I'm totally playing DMC4 now. Isn't it awesome? I'm having so much fun with it, but Dante Must Die mode is hard.
